Animal Prints Are In

By |   September - 11 - 2010

Animal prints are one of those trends that are either really in or really out, and it keeps changing. So it can be hard to know when to wear it and when to avoid it. Well good news for leopard print and zebra print lovers: animal prints are very in this season. Seen on celebrities, in the magazines, while shopping online, on people walking down the streets of downtown–the proof is all around. But, there’s one huge rule to remember about wearing animal prints: never put two items of the same, or even worse, different, animal prints together in an outfit. For example, if you’re wearing the Tory Burch leopard booties (below) with some dark-wash skinny jeans; don’t wear a leopard print shirt too to try and match it. That’s a big fugly no-no. Go with a non-print shirt, or something at least very subtly printed so it doesn’t clash with your fantastic shoes. When you wear an animal print, that’s the focus of attention in your outfit. Don’t drown it out and over-do it with other prints. Some cute examples of animal print clothes and accessories that are currently in from hot brands are below, so you can look just as fabulous as all the celebs in new animal print items for this fall.
