Casual like the First Lady

Michelle Obama Shorts

Michelle Obama is getting knocked for wearing some shorts that may have been a tad too tight on a recent trip with her family to the Grand Canyon but I think she should be commended. She’s dressing just like every American mom does when they go on a summer hiking vacation with their children.

In fact, Michelle Obama’s ill fitting shorts may actually be good for her husband’s image. By making a slight fashion gaff that every regular American woman has made the first family seems more relatable.

Michelle Obama’s casual attire includes a comfy pair of athletic shoes, maybe not the sexiest pair of shoes in the world but it’s exactly the right thing for a day of hiking in the Grand Canyon.

The much ballyhooed shorts are really just a simple pair of shorts that may be a tad tight or a tad too short, but the very fit Michelle Obama has nothing to fear as they look just fine.

Topping off the shorts is a simple white cami paired with a simple plaid short sleeves button down shirt.

Finally she selected plain white baseball hat, sunglasses to provide protection and perhaps a little anonymity and a lavender Toywatch, which was last year’s must have accessory.

In fact, if she wasn’t flanked by the secret service and being followed by paparazzi she would look like an everyday mom on vacation with her family, the perfect image for this groundbreaking first family.
