Eva Mendes Furniture Line

Eva Mendes is actually fairly easy to forget or to ignore but she’s had roles in quite a few movies including Fast 2 Furious, Hitch, and Training Day. But she’s moving into a new role which may make her more memorable, but probably not.

Eva Mendes has announced that she will be creating a Latin inspired bedding collection called Vida. She has teamed up with George Augusto and her Vida Designs are available at Macy’s.

If you do find that the Vida line of Latin inspired bedding by Eva Mendes appeals to you then pairing this bold and typically richly colored fabric with a simple contemporary lamp is a great idea as the simple lines let the bedding take center stage while providing a graceful backdrop.

To accessorize the room a frameless mirror is nice because it not only lets the bedding stand out but, placed correctly, it reflects it without a distracting border to give it even more emphasis.  To give the room a little more wow try a bronze mirror that echoes the elaborate and decorative style of Eva Mendes’s Vida bedding collection. Candle wall sconces will give you even more drama but be careful as too much drama in a bedroom can be a bad thing.

In addition to the bedding it appears as if the line will also contain some window treatments which will help even out the look of your bedroom and provide a uniting theme. Remember when creating a look for a bedroom that the bedding is most often the central focus and thus it sets the tone of the room and others things should be gathered around it to provide decorative support.
