Fashion Trends for 2010

It’s 2010 and time to think about how we’re going to dress this year. There are a few trends on the horizon for 2010 and none of them are real shockers, but one thing you’ll want to keep in mind, that New Year’s resolution to get fit – you’d better stick to it.

Skin is In

Really, when isn’t skin in? But in 2010 its going to be everywhere and this is why you’ll want to be in good shape. Mainly legs will be the center of attention so focus on the squats and stock up on short shorts and mini skirts.

Over the Knee

Well, they tried to push the over the knee boot trend down our throats this winter and not many mainstream women bought into it. This spring the over the knee sock will take the place of the boot and probably not catch on much with anyone over 23.

Strength of the Past

The gladiator sandal was more of a hit than anyone expected and it brought the tough shoe for women to the fore with motorcycle boots, western boots and more. This season it will be more than footwear that goes tough, look for gladiator, military and tribal inspired clothing.

Jumpers and Rompers

And the one trend that’s predicted to take off like a rocket is the jumpsuit or romper. I hate this look, especially the jumpsuit, but every fashion rag is predicting this trend will soar so let’s see what happens before we jump in line.
