A little black dress is almost always a good idea, even in the heat of summer it can be a stunner, as shown here on Audrina Patridge, a star of The Hills.

Not any little black dress, the one worn by Audrina Patridge features an interesting V-neck panel. It’s this look and cut outs that are making this season’s little black dresses more interesting and sophisticated than they have been in the past. Audrina Patridge is wearing a mini dress, but you don’t have to be that bold, a longer dress with a nice slim, hugging fit will work just as well.

One of the best parts of the look Audrina Patridge has put together for the Red Bull Toasted event honoring Travis Pastrana is that she kept it very simple. To accompany the little black dress she chose simple black platform shoes with a little peep toe that mimics the cut outs of her dress. Fergie has created a similar shoe, the Fergalicious Women’s Gem which is versatile enough to wear with a number of outfits.

Staying with the keep it simple motto, Audrina Patridge chose a little black leather clutch purse which was big enough to hold a few essentials but small enough to almost disappear into the look.

And finally, the look was completed with a couple simple bracelets for that finished feminine touch.

Get Audrina Patridge’s look and sharp and classically trendy style by purchasing simple pieces that fit well.
