Jennifer Lopez Wears Sweats

Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony and their twins Emme and Maximilian went to Rome for a family vacation and J-Lo apparently set out to prove that 40 is indeed the end of the world for an American woman.

Having recently hit the big 4-Oh, Jennifer Lopez and crew headed to Rome to relax, see some sites and apparently schlub around like a bunch of sloppy American tourists. Leaving her signature style behind, the now over-the-hill Lopez has taken the George Costanza route and adopted sweatpants as her fashion statement, and not even her own brand of casual sweat clothes, Sweetface, although if her fashion sense in Rome is any indication of the route the line was taking its no surprise that it was announced earlier this year that Sweetface would shut down and produce sportswear no more.

If you want to copy the frumpy dumpy look of a star who has apparently passed her prime, then slide into a pair of ill fitting black sweat pants. You can go the expensive route and buy a designer white t-shirt for way too much money or do what I do and pick up a package of men’s white Hanes t-shirts.

For the shoes, the pivotal point of any outfit, any old pair of sneakers will do. I guess as long as they’re comfortable then they’ll fit the new slouchy fashion statement adopted by Jennifer Lopez.

As a step to disguise herself or shield herself from the sun, as it’s hard to take an incognito route when you’ve got a fleet of bodyguards tagging along, JLo opted to wear a baseball styled cap and a pair of oversized sunglasses.
