Julianne Moore Does the 80s in a Bad Way

Julianne Moore was the winner of the 2009 Hollywood Awards for her supporting actress role in A Single Man, but her outfit sure wasn’t winning any awards, unless it’s the award for worst looking dress or scariest flashback of the 80′s.

Her knee length dress is a very unflattering shade of peach with a matching belt that doesn’t do her figure any favors at all. The shoulder pads make her look even wider with the wide square cut neckline. And how tight is that dress across the top of her chest? It looks like the seams on the dress are about to bust open (pun intended).

The shoes she chose are very cute but don’t match the dress at all. The shoes are gold and black platforms which look very modern and trendy and definitely not from the 80′s. Obviously she could find some nasty peach satin pumps to match her get up but she’d be better off choosing a better fitting dress from this decade.

At least Julianne Moore is a better actress than she is a dresser and A Single Man looks like it’s going to be a great movie.
