Skinny is Out, Athletic is In

By |   September - 3 - 2009

Okay that’s probably a bit of an overstatement, but super skinny seems to have given way in Hollywood to more practical and pleasing athletically fit look. In fact it seems that celebrities are working pretty hard at being seen working out.

Mary Kate Olsen

Mary Kate Olsen

Here Mary Kate Olsen shows her healthy side by spinning around the city with her boyfriend Nate Lowman. The problem for Mary Kate is she is a dead ringer for Ozzy Osborne with those round sunglasses.

Hayden Panettiere

Hayden Panettiere

Hayden Panettiere of Heroes is heading out for a walk and looks happy to be getting some exercise, but her too tight shorts and tank top leave very little to the imagination.

Catherine Zeta Jones

Catherine Zeta Jones

Catherine Zeta Jones has taken to golf as a way to get some exercise and spend some quality time with her husband. The small and big screen star looks pretty sporty and serious about her game but her golf shoes look like they might belong to her husband. A cute pair in white and pink would finish off her style in just the right way.

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian made sure to get in front of the cameras several times while she threw out the first pitch before the Los Angeles Dodgers and Washington Nationals game recently. Kim Kardashian looked hot and sexy on the field (which I think is her “profession”) but she looked a little silly in those red stilettos.

Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood

Looking a lot more at home on the ball field and dressed to perfection is singing sensation, Carrie Underwood. This softball veteran was a boon to her team at the 19th Celebrity Softball Challenge at Nashville’s Greer Stadium. This is the way to do celebrity sporting style right, if you’re going to do it you should go all out and know at least a little bit about what you’re doing. And stop to look in the mirror before you head out the door.
