Spring Trend Report for 2010

Well Spring 2010 fashion reports are in and it looks like this season may go down as one of the tackiest ever. Oh and I realize I may regret that statement as I belly up to the latest trends.

The fashionistas this coming season will be dressing in prints, lots and lots of mismatched prints. Something about this trend feels a little 80’s to me, or maybe it’s the less defined early 90’s that I’m feeling.

But if you want to ride the latest print on print fashion trend for the spring 2010 there are some better ways to do it. Look for “neutral” prints like bold stripes or polka dots and pair these with small prints so the color is the dominant look. You can also go with prints that are similar (or the same) in pattern but feature different colors.

To go wild and draw attention to yourself and this latest print on print trend, throw all matching instinct out the window and just pair any old print with any new print and forget the colors. Up the ante by adding a pair of animal printed pumps to the mix.
