Everywhere you look, snakeskin adorns women’s shoes, bags and belts. It seems that ever designer agrees that snakeskin is in. Celebrities snapped up the trend, of course, with stars like Beyonce sporting snakeskin Dolce&Gabbana handbags.

Don’t despair, ladies. Those of us with more modest budgets have snakeskin options too. Check out New York & Co’s matte jersey python print dress. I couldn’t pass this one up – it’s in my closet right now. If I was feeling really saucy, I might give these strappy Pelle Moda snakeskin shoes a try. But only if walking was optional.

No Lounge Lizards

Putting a snakeskin bag with that ensemble might be a bit over the top, unless you’re dating a lounge lizard. But a python envelop clutch would look absolutely fabulous with a pair of skinny jeans, some spiky heeled sandals and a black ruffled top.
