Taylor Swift Wants Rihanna’s Style

Taylor Swift

Country music singer, Taylor Swift, has recently admitted that she looks to Rihanna for fashion tips and admires the singer’s style. And who can blame her. Rihanna looks great no matter what she’s wearing, even if it’s a shiner from her on again/off again boyfriend Chris Brown.

Rihanna Denim Dress

Here Rihanna steps out in fairly casual short strapless denim dress paired with a very unusual turquoise hat  and matching turquoise stiletto pumps which make the outfit look sexy yet casual, perfect for a stop at Popeye’s chicken with an entourage of your favorite paparazzi.

Rihanna Leather Dress

Another look that’s great on Rihanna but probably not a look that Taylor Swift should adopt is this leather dress with pops of color throughout. The dress is attractive on Rihanna but on a sweet-faced young girl like Taylor Swift it might come across a little bit too trampy. And part of the look, that I’m not sure even works for Rihanna are the shoes. These cute flats are great until you get to the ankle where there appears to be a scrunched up sweat sock hanging on to her ankle.

Rihanna Red Carpet

As far as red carpet wear, Rihanna looks incredible in a silver metallic mini dress with a pair of towering silver sandals making a simple statement that’s bold and brash. But again not really a look we’d like to see on Taylor Swift.

Heidi Klum

So the lesson here is, Rihanna, the more mature rocker looks adorable almost everywhere she goes but sweet young crooner, Taylor Swift, would probably look a bit trashy if she dressed like Rihanna so we hope she finds a new fashion icon soon. Maybe Project Runway’s Heidi Klum would be a better fit.

I am eager for Taylor Swift’s new album. Seems ages since her last one.
